This session introduces the new Db2 Developer VS Code Extension and provides an update on IBM Db2 Bridge, IBM's data movement and migration solution designed to simplify and accelerate database modernization. We'll cover what Db2 Bridge is, the problems it solves, and where it fits within the broader Db2 portfolio, along with an overview of the VS Code Extension's key features and intended use cases. In this presentation we will discuss the resiliency offerings for DB2 and how they can be combined to provide an Always On architecture.  What are the process changes required, how to I determine what needs to be done and what can I do today. The IBM Always On architecture allows you to run your client facings systems 24 by 7 by 365 with zero downtime.

It covers common types of corruption such as data, index, page, transaction log, packed descriptor, and memory corruption, along with practical techniques and Db2 tools used for detection and diagnosis.
